North Face has announced the Spring 2011 release of the Verto Jacket and Verto Pack. North Face is promoting these as advanced technical pieces. And from the look and description from the company's press release, it looks to be true.

The Verto Jacket is made of denier fabric and packs down to the size of a candy bar (3.2 ounces). It is being touted as abrasion and wind resistant.

The Verto Pack is advertised as a summit or day pack. Plus it has compression straps and can be used as a stuff sack for your sleeping bag. It is touted for its light weight too – 11 ounces.

North Face has not announced prices for either Verto pieces yet.
