The 2011 Outdoor Retailer Winter Market highlighted new products from established companies and ones that are new to the outdoor industry landscape.
Start-ups are often characterized as companies that bring bold new ideas to market. Companies with deep historical roots are also as innovative. Our final leftovORs shows the contrast between established companies and start-ups and the significant advances each is making in new products.
VestPac
The VestPac line of minimalist modular pack system solves several problems for outdoor activities. The entire line provides the solution based on a few design principles: easy access to necessities and hydration.
A VestPac has modular compartments in reach across your chest. The compartments can hold anything from an iPod to trail munchies. A hydration panel sits on your back and can house up to a 1.5 liter bladder. Several models allow you to tailor your VestPac to the activity that it'll be used – hiking, running, fishing and paddling.
If you want to reconfigure your VestPac after your purchase, the modular components can be purchased separately. The VestPac design offers limitless flexibility and it can adapt to your changing needs. (MSRP $62.95 to $129.95)
