Osprey Packs Kode 30Dropping into serious backcountry riding or skiing requires the right pack on your back to carry your jacket, shovel, board, skis, water and essentials.  It has to fit properly to your body type, or it will ruin your day after spending hours hiking to earn your turns.

The Ospey Packs Kode 30 is designed for winter touring and backcountry use. It’s made from durable Cordura material and comes with an adjustable hip belt to keep your extra in check.  Easy access side pockets on the hip belt keep your camera handy for capturing your buddy’s pow pandemonium and when he eats snow.

The zippers have bungee loops to for easy access even with gloves, and the back panel is designed to shed snow after an inevitable big tumble.

The Kode 30 has a vertical option to carry your board when skinning in the backcountry.  All areas touching your board’s edges are reinforced with material to prevent tearing your pack.  Two choices are available for carrying your skis - diagonal on an A frame or on the pack’s sides.

A fleece lined compartment in the KODE 30 is ideal for housing your goggles.

Booting uphill can fill your brain bucket with sweat. The Osprey Packs Kode 30 is designed with a bungee type net holds your helmet on the pack for perspiration-filled climbs. (MSRP $139.00)
