Mile High Mountaineering,  an uber-youthful company that started in 2009, announced the addition of five new packs to their line. Previous packs have featured innovations such as a sleeping bag stash with a built-in stuff sack, integrated rain fly and a hydration sleeve that rides on top of the back.

High Peak announced three new packs to the company's Rapid line – Rapid 50, Rapid, 40 and Rapid 35 – in a press release. The new additions will be available for the Winter 2011 season. Each comes loaded with features for use on land, water and snow.

Common features across the three new styles include web and compression straps to secure skis, adjustable back panel for proper fitting and a sternum strap with emergency whistle and a pocketed hip belt

DeLorme announced in a recent press release the first Iridium-based personal communicator – inReach.

The InReach is advertised to deliver global two-way satellite text messaging, delivery confirmations, SOS features, remote tracking and an Android smartphone interface. The global connectivity is driven by the Iridium 9602 short-burst transceiver.

Kate’s Real Food recently moved into a new facility in Victor, ID. The new car smell has not worn off the new headquarters, and they have introduced the Handle Bar and the Stash Bar. The new flavors feature dark chocolate, dried cherries, flax seed, hemp seed and almond butter.

The nine-megapixel Mini II is the latest underwater camera from SeaLife.

The Mini II is waterproof to 130-foot and has rubber-armored and stainless steel hardware. SeaLife touts the camera to withstand the crushing force of being run over by a 3,000 pound car.
