BioLogic is releasing a suite of new products geared for cyclists that use an iPhone. The products include a free iPhone application that tracks ride data, a handle bar mounted protective iPhone case and a kit that charges an iPhone while riding.

BikeBrain Lite turns an iPhone into a cycle computer that offers GPS mapping using Google Maps, speed, distance, elapsed time and almost a dozen other data parameters. The app is available for free now from the Apple App Store.

Recon LLC, an ecommerce and product development company, has introduced its first product, Crovel, A multi-tool designed for survival and emergency preparedness. Recon boasts the 5.5-pound Crovel eliminates 45 pounds of unneeded weight by integrating several tools into one piece of gear.
Crovel’s primary feature is a folding shovel and crowbar and touts an ax, hammer, pick, pry bar, hoe and machete. The sharpened shovel edge adds versatility for chopping, cutting and sawing.
