BioLogic  is releasing a suite of new products geared for cyclists that use an iPhone. The products include a free iPhone application that tracks ride data, a handle bar mounted protective iPhone case and a kit that charges an iPhone while riding.

BikeBrain Lite iPhone Application

BikeBrain Lite turns an iPhone into a cycle computer that offers GPS mapping using Google Maps, speed, distance, elapsed time and almost a dozen other data parameters. The app is available for free now from the Apple App Store.

Recon LLC, an ecommerce and product development company, has introduced its first product, Crovel, A multi-tool designed for survival and emergency preparedness. Recon boasts the 5.5-pound Crovel eliminates 45 pounds of unneeded weight by integrating several tools into one piece of gear.

Crovel’s primary feature is a folding shovel and crowbar and touts an ax, hammer, pick, pry bar, hoe and machete. The sharpened shovel edge adds versatility for chopping, cutting and sawing.

Marker-Volkl has announced a new line of ski poles for the 2011/12 season – Phantsticks. The line will feature five types of poles in a variety of materials, color schemes and lengths.

Boulder, Colorado-based Movement Skis announced their Logix X design will be reintroduced in the North American market for 2011-2012. The addition brings Movement’s number of big mountain freeride and freestyle designs to fourteen.

Zeal Optics announced an expansion to its Transcend GPS goggle line in a press release. Zeal’s Transcend GPS models boast vertical odometer technologies and real-time access to your speed, altitude, temperature and time. The goggles transfer the collected data to your Mac or PC, and you can view your fastest speeds, vertical distances covered and relive your ski runs on Google Earth.

Revo announced the release of four new models that will be available in May 2011. Each model will be available with Revo’s new Water lens, a high contrast polarized lens for the color profiles of open water.

Osprey Packs announced its newest pack which supports the Breast Cancer Fund. The special, limited-edition Verve 10 is available at selected U.S. retailers and at the company’s website.
