I closed the show out with a visit to a handful of top outdoor gear companies that featured original products. Thule has recently launched a comprehensive line of travel gear. One of the pieces of the line is the Thule Crossover Backpack. The Crossover Backpack packs 30 liters and has a crushproof compartment for valuables such as your iPod and ski eyewear. The backpack is designed with aluminum hardware and sports water resistant fabrics. The Thule Crossover backpack has a suggested retail price of $289.99. Salomon will offer to consumers the mid-height Comet 3D GTX Hiking Boot. The EVA midsole is part of the light 20.1 ounce per boot. The Comet 3D GTX has a Gore-Tex membrane making it waterproof and breathable. Salomon’s 3D Advanced Chassis is advertised to keep you moving longer on the trail. The Salomon Comet 3D Hiking Boot will be available in the Spring of 2011 with a suggested retail price of $180. |
