VestPac: a lightweight solution for hydration and personal electronic devices
Written by Jason Elliot

VestPac Logoimages/VestPacKeeping your gear light without sacrificing functionality is a goal when preparing for a day outdoors. VestPac, based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is bringing a minimalist attitude in a new line of modular hydration packs.

The Vestpac is touted as the first modular hydration pack featuring a chest panel designed to carry personal electronic devices, tools and other essentials. A VestPac is a vest equipped with a front panel with multiple pockets and a hydration reservoir sleeve in the rear panel.

VestPac weighs under a pound and is designed with a 3-D airmesh backing to create airflow and wick away moisture. Eight different front panel options are available with varying types of pockets and pouches - zippered, Velcro-lock, see-through and security flaps.

The VestPac is versatile for several outdoor activities including fishing, skiing, kayaking, stand up paddling and running. VestPac has a suggested retail price ranging from $82 to $92. The VestPac Fishing Complete retails for $169.
