New for Spring 2010, Teva has introduced the Itunda. Teva advertises the sandal as being geared for the trails and water recreation.

The duality in its use extends to the design of the upper. The Teva Itunda consists of two main fabrics for its upper – leather and polyester mesh.

The sandal's unique design also includes a sole that includes Teva's Drain Frame. The Drain frame in the Itunda keeps the sandal from getting waterlogged since it has hole in the footbed and sides of the sole to allow water to escape to prevent waterlogging.

The Itunda's footbed is comfortable and is designed with ample arch support and high performing heel cup. The Itunda keeps your foot securely strapped in with 2 adjustable strapped.

Teva LogoPull the adjustable taunt and the sandals handle superbly even on slick mossy rocks that you encounter. The Itunda has a sturdy toe guard that will further help for scaling slippery rocks without stubbing your five little piggies.

The Teva Itunda is designed for performance and is priced well above more casual sandals - $100. They are worth the price tag if you are an adrenaline seeking water hound and for shorter day hikes. Teva offers their limited 1-year warranty for the Itunda.
